It provides a valuable green space for local residents to do the things that they want – to play sports, exercise, walk dogs or just relax.

The park is maintained with the help of local volunteers who keep it tidy and organise special events and festivals. At any given moment there may be people using the Caledonian Park in a dozen different ways to improve their quality of life.
