Windrush Stories

Young residents from Prospex youth group published today episode one of their new podcast ‘Windrush Stories’. This is the final part of our ongoing Windrush project here at Cally Park celebrating the Windrush Generation and their invaluable contribution to our society. They interviewed older residents from the Windrush generation whom they met in the summer and recorded their stories of moving to Islington and their new life in the UK.

They’ve learnt new skills (recording, editing etc) as well as tackling really difficult subjects such as racism and discrimination.
